Homeschool Family Activities for March

We are so lucky to have lots of activities available for FREE for families in our area. We could seriously go bankrupt with all the activities, classes, teams that are available to kids nowadays, but with a little research you can find tons of free or low cost activities!

My main method of searching for family activities is Facebook. When you login look at the lefthand side of the page. Under Explore, click on events. (If on mobile click on the 3 lines in the upper right hand corner. Click on events.)

In the upper right hand corner you can find events by date or by type. I selected "Choose Date." (Mobile - Select Events Near You Today, Tomorrow, This weekend..)

Finally, you can filter by location. (Mobile - Upper right hand corner. Click on Filter icon. You can then filter by category or location)

I will also check the library's calendar as most libraries offer a variety of activities and events. Local colleges have event calendars as well, which can be a great resource in educational activities that are open to the public.
